Tasha Jones Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is in memoriam of Tasha Jones, a long time employee of the Edgefield Animal Care Center.  When she joined us in 2009 she made a perfect addition to our team not only because of her work ethic but also her love and compassion for animals.  Tasha was a quiet, thoughtful person, always quick with a smile.  Her personality fit in perfectly when dealing with animals and clients because she was very calming towards both.  She and her husband Brett enjoyed sharing their home with numerous four-legged friends.  Tasha worked very hard over a number of years to balance work, family and school as she was pursuing her veterinary technician degree, which she earned just before she passed after a long battle with cancer. 

Tasha has touched many lives in her short time on this earth and she is greatly missed by many. Therefore the Edgefield Animal Care family have created this scholarship in Tasha's honor to remember her.  The recipient of this scholarship needs to be someone interested in an animal related field.  We believe Tasha's hope for the recipient of this scholarship is to be grateful, happy and hardworking towards the goal of making life better for the animals and people they meet everyday.
